Pakatan seat allocations in Penang State

MM Online - Dr M: Pakatan yet to finalise distribution of Penang state seats for GE14 (extracts):

Dr Mahathir, who is also chairman of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM), advised Pakatan Harapan component party members to set aside party interests for the more important goal of gaining victory for the pact.

The Penang legislative assembly has 40 seats, of which 29 are held by Pakatan Harapan – 19 by DAP and 10 by PKR. Umno has 10 seats and PAS, one.

Dr Mahathir said the pact had reached agreement on the distribution of parliamentary seats in Penang.

The Pakatan Harapan convention in Negeri Sembilan last month erupted into chaos after about 40 PPBM members protested following dissatisfaction over the distribution of seats.

The distribution should be as easy as pie, given we are a racist nation, as proven by most of our major political parties in Peninsular being based along racist lines, namely:

  • Big Kahuna UMNO (Najib's party)
  • Wannabe big kahuna Pribumi (Mahathir's party)
  • MCA (Liow Tiong Lai's party)
  • MIC (Subramnaiam's party)

PAS and Amanah aren't race-based per se but both are Malay parties by default of their religion-based politics.

PKR is a Malay-based party by history, merger, and consistent Malay-only leadership and issuers of party policies.

Only the DAP is multiracial with mainly Chinese and Indians, but now accepting more than just a few Malays. DAP has a Malay MP in Penang.

In 2013, the DAP won all 19 state seats it contested in Penang, with 15 Chinese and 4 Indian ADUN representing Penangites of their respective constituencies

PKR won 10 seats with 5 Malay ADUN and 4 Chinese ones and a single Indian ADUN.

PAS won one while UMNO won 10.

Thus there are 24 Chinese-Indian seats and 16 Malay ones - I'm grouping Chinese and Indian won seats together as 'nons' constituencies, we being racists wakakaka.

Pribumi, Amanah and PKR can split the 16 seats among themselves, say (let's give some face to PKR), with 10 for PKR, 3 for Pribumi and 3 for Amanah.

This would be quite fair as PKR only won 9 whilst Amanah has 3 compared to what PAS had won, only 1. And f**k newcomer Pribumi who should be satisfied with 3 (from zero).

The DAP won all its 19 seats it contested in 2013, thus it should be rewarded this time with 24 seats, wakakaka.

As DAP is a multiracial party, PKR Malay ADUN who seek a more credible party may also join the party and probably stand as DAP candidates in GE14.

Beres. Wakakaka.
