TMI - Anwar in stable condition, says party (extracts):
DOCTORS at Kuala Lumpur Hospital's (HKL) Coronary Care Unit have given the green light for PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim to be discharged, said PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil.
"Anwar is now back at the Rehabilitation Hospital in Cheras so that doctors can monitor his progress and continue physiotherapy for his right shoulder," said Fahmi.
The 70-year-old former deputy prime minister was admitted to HKL today after reacting negatively to a steroid injection to treat prolonged pain following a shoulder surgery.
The steroids caused his heart rate to drop to a worrying level before he was transferred to HKL.

I am glad Anwar is getting better.
Poor bloke - once upon a time, and not too long ago, his heart problem would have caused a hue and cry among Pakatan diehards.
There would have been accusations galore and the doctor in attendance would have been castigated umpteen times over, if not hung on a street lamp, for the steroid injection.
Now that Mahathir has usurped his leadership role and position, no one, other than his family, seems to care about his well-being.
I am surprised there has been no visit to his bedside as were the cases when he had undergone shoulder surgery last year.
In mid November Najib and wife paid a courtesy visit to HKL when Anwar was recovering from the surgery. A day later they were followed by Ahmad Zahid and a week later, Aziz Nazri was at Anwar's bedside as well.
Lim Guan Eng was also reported as visiting Anwar on 29 November last year, with an additional purpose, to brief and discuss with Anwar issues regarding Pakatan Harapan’s preparations for GE14.
Then Mahathir, not to be beaten, attempted to visit Anwar too but was denied that visit due to his failure to obtain permission to visit a prisoner held in jail. Mahathir was accompanied by Nurul Izzah.
I wonder why Lim Kit Siang has been M.I.A in this regard?
But his recent heart condition after the steroid injections has been a far more serious case, far more serious than last year's shoulder surgery. I would have expected Pakatan leaders to visit him even though he may be playing a minor role after being eclipsed by Mahathir.
