Will Lim Kit Siang or Guan Eng stand in Labis?

Star Online - DAP's anti-climax in Labis (extracts):

The DAP strategy to wipe out MCA and spark off a political momentum in Johor appears to be in trouble.

The latest sign that their grand design is not working out as planned came when they had to recall a retired politician to contest the Labis parliamentary seat.

Naming lawyer Pang Hok Liong for Labis was clearly a last resort kind of move and such an anti-climax to their ambitious offensive in Johor.

Pang, who last contested a general election in 2004, is seen as the classic recycled candidate.

The party failed to persuade any of its big names to go against MCA vice-president Datuk Chua Tee Yong, 40, who is the incumbent in Labis.

It is seen as an admission that they cannot beat Chua although the latter had won by only 363 votes in 2013.

What about Lim Kit Siang or Lim Guan Eng standing in Labis? After all they are Johoreans. Apa takut?

If two biggies Teo Nie Ching and Gobind Deo don't want to stand in Labis (after sussing out the place), why blame Dr Boo Cheng Hau.

Dr Boo - made a scapegoat

Stop finding scapegoat from those already marginalised by party leaders, namely, the Lim's. Next they will be blaming Dr Tan Seng Giaw for refusing to stand in Labis.

Podah.
