MM Online - Rafizi escapes jail for OSA conviction, released on good behaviour bond (extracts):
PUTRAJAYA, Jun 1 — PKR vice president Rafizi Ramli has been released on a two-year good behaviour bond after his 18-month jail sentence for Official Secrets Act (OSA) was overturned by the Appellate Court here today.
The three member panel at the Court of Appeal today allowed Rafizi's appeal against his jail sentence over two convictions under the OSA, and released him on a good behaviour bond of RM 10,000.
Rafizi was found guilty under the OSA for revealing official secret documents regarding 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB ) dealings in 2016.
Rafizi's lawyer Abdul Nizam Hamid later confirmed that the bond would mean that Rafizi is no longer restricted from contesting in elections due to the OSA conviction.

Are we likely to see a PKR by-election at some stage a la the Rancid Kajang Satay?
Maybe as Selangor's MB if Azmin Ali kuai-kuai surrenders his Bukit Antarabangsa state seat to PKR colleagues? Afterall, Azmin as federal Economics Minister doesn't need a state seat. Wakakaka.
