What I want to know is why hasn’t there been a sustained interfaith condemnation against Zakir Naik and unconditional support for Ramasamy? Do you really think that the other non-Muslim faiths are not in the cross-hairs of Zakir Naik and his supporters? Do you really think that this is solely an Indian/Hindu issue?
Hate to break it to those non-Muslims who do not want to rock the boat but the reality is that coddling political operatives who just want to curry favour with the Pakatan Harapan Grand Poobah and demonstrate that they are not the power behind the throne is exactly how the MCA got its “running dog” credentials.
Which brings me to those big fat cowards, the DAP. The DAP wants an explanation from Ramasamy about his alleged links with the LTTE? Really? The snivelling remarks by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow that he has full confidence that Ramasamy can explain himself is the height of political expediency.
To the mandarins of the DAP, Ramasamy has already explained himself. What is needed is the DAP have the backbone to support a political operative of theirs instead of this weaselling stance which appears as support but sounds more like disavowment.
Dodgy legal arguments
How many times has Professor Ramasamy defended the actions and rhetoric of the DAP? How many times have statements been made about the DAP or their political operatives and Ramasamy has, on cue, responded in the press? How many times has Ramasamy come to the aid of the members of the DAP so much so that he gained a reputation of being a “DAP Indian apologist” by the Umno crowd and those who support the DAP but not specific stands taken by the party?
And this is his reward after his long history of being an able defender of the party? He gets to explain himself on charges which have no bearing on the issues at hand but are red herrings by the deep Islamic state to protect a possible asset.
But do you think we can expect Lim Guan Eng, sec-gen of the DAP and the nation's new "powerful" (wakakaka) Minister to dare say anything in defence of Ramasamy when to do so will annoy Muslims?
Why, Guan Eng has even recently spoke out against Israel's new Jewish nation-state laws, which my suspicious nature and 6th sense tell me Guan Eng's verbal action against Israel has been all about currying favour with local Muslims.

Lim Father & Son have been conspicuously silent on the matter of Zakir Naik, his feud with P Ramasamy (DCM II of Penang) and the intrusion of Dr Asri Zainul Abidin into the vitriolic verbal vendetta of two Indians, one a foreigner wanted by Indian police and barred from entering numerous Western & European states, and the other, a Malaysian citizen, DCM of Penang State, reputed international peace negotiator, distinguished academician and an outstanding citizen.
Commander (rtd) S Thayaparan has been spot on when he lambasted those big fat cowards, the DAP for forsaking its own member, Ramasamy, who is currently under siege from the ultra right wing supporters of Zakir Naik, chief among whom has been Dr Asri. The PDRM is investigating Ramasamy when they should have deported or extradited Zakir Naik back to India where the anti-terrorist police are waiting for him, all because new Tokong in town has given the Mamak his 'protection'.
Dr Asri (Perlis Mufti) has a longish feud with Dr Ramasamy over local Hindu-Islamic affairs. The Mufti, once considered to be moderate and reasonably popular with the nons, has recently been showing his 'fangs'.
Yes, he is a man who has composed an insulting Malay poem about Hindus, the first half of which went (translated roughly into English):
“When those who worship cows unite, and call for our preacher to be troubled, to be given to a cruel government that prays to fire, the burner of widows… in another continent, which teaches people to make castes, to the unfortunate point of being called pariahs…” .

Guan Eng has already abandoned Ramasamy on the Isle of Malaysian Untouchables, the political equivalent of Penang's once-Pulau Jerejak - Penangites call the island 'T'ai Koe Soo' which means the Isle of lepers.
But where then is Lim Kit Siang, the most raucous noisy de facto Minister of Anti Najib Propaganda?
