Dr M says his remark on Jews is free speech

PUTRAJAYA, June 20 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today defended his right to free speech, after he was criticised for making purportedly anti-Semitic remarks in the UK.
He also criticised the West for what he claimed to be practicing a biased definition of free speech.
“But that is my opinion. They talk about free speech, I can’t say that thing, there is no free speech.
“That’s why I say the Europeans, they have double standard. When they like, (it’s) free speech. When they don’t like, don’t say, it’s wrong,” Dr Mahathir said.
To him, freedom of speech includes the right to describe Jews as people with 'hooked noses'.
To him, freedom of speech includes the right to declare every Chinese Malaysian is rich.
To him, freedom of speech includes the right to say the Pakatan manifesto is not a biblical-clad book of promises, meaning Pakatan promises may and have indeed already been broken.
To him, freedom of speech includes the right to deny his involvement in so many scandals during his PM-ship from 1981 to 2003.
But does freedom of speech to him include the right to deny Anwar Ibrahim the PM position 2 years after 05 May 2018?
